The Marrakech International Marathon attracted more than 7,000 runners from around the globe. As always, they were able to participate in one of the most prestigious marathons in the world. The Edenic city of Marrakech offers an exceptional setting, often a mild climate in the month of January and a beautiful circuit considered among the fastest international marathons along the palm tree alleys, orange and olive groves, but also the ramparts of the city.

The Marrakech International Film Festival 2016 will celebrate its 16th edition. In wanting to “bring peoples and cultures”, His Majesty King Mohamed VI established the festival in 2001 to be a “crossroads of artistic creation of the world.” All cultural and sports events and all exhibitions, conferences make Marrakech the crossroads city of the world by excellence.
